We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized Secretary/Victim Assistant to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal teams, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
- Assist victims by offering compassionate support, guiding them through legal processes, and ensuring their needs are prioritized with sensitivity and professionalism.
- Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, reports, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage case files electronically using document management systems; ensure all records are accurate, confidentially maintained, and properly organized.
- Handle client communications via phone and written correspondence with professionalism, clarity, and confidentiality while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Support project management tasks related to case timelines, court filings, document review processes, and procedural law requirements to ensure timely case progression.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school education
- Must pass a background check
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; capable of drafting clear legal documents and client correspondence.
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Demonstrated clerical experience including filing, data entry, phone etiquette, and administrative support functions.
