We make a ton of DENTURES, and pull a lot of teeth. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in dental surgeries and has mechanical logic to help understand how a denture works.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as scanning teeth and models
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed
Requirements:
- Registered Dental Assistant preferred, but willing to train (would need to get x-ray cert from WDT/state)
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
