About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide high-quality speech therapy services to our residents. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work with patients who are struggling with communication, swallowing, or cognitive disorders. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients to improve their ability to communicate effectively and safely. Your expertise and care will make a significant difference in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech therapy evaluations and assessments to identify patient needs
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address patient goals
- Provide targeted speech therapy services to patients, including individual and group sessions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in patient care conferences to review treatment plans and outcomes
Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology (SLP) or related field
- graduatation from an accredited ASHA-approved SLP program
- Possess or be eligible for Ohio state licensure as an SLP
- Ability to work part-time or per diem schedule as needed (flexibility is a plus!)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong patient advocacy and care coordination abilities
