As a Direct Support Professional at Chesco Inc., you will play a vital role in assisting adults with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their quality of life. This position is essential in fostering independence and supporting individuals in their daily activities within their homes and communities.

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate caregiving support to individuals in various settings, including group homes and community environments.
- Assist with medication administration and ensure compliance with health protocols.
- Monitor the health and well-being of clients
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including cooking, cleaning, and personal care tasks.
- Encourage participation in community activities and promote social interactions
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED
· Valid Driver’s License & Reliable Vehicle with Insurance
· Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
· Ability to Pass a Criminal Background Check
· Proven experience in caregiving or direct support roles preferred, preferably within a group home or similar environment.
· Knowledge of home health care standards.
· Strong interpersonal skills & a commitment to fostering positive relationships with clients.
· Ability to monitor patient health effectively and respond appropriately to emergencies.
· Experience in cooking and maintaining cleanliness in shared living spaces is beneficial.
