This contract position welcomes both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology, with a special preference for candidates experienced in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
In this role, you'll make a difference by providing comprehensive speech and language services to a diverse student population. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through June 26, 2026, offering a consistent schedule with 37.5 hours each week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
- Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY applicants
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency or high interest in AAC systems highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and deliver treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders across a broad age range (K-21)
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student's needs
- Consult and collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with local and federal guidelines
- Support inclusive practices and advocate for students’ communication needs in both classroom and community settings
