Duties
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing their needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation surfaces, beverage stations, and dining spaces to meet food safety standards.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures during drink preparation and food service.
- Manage retail sales transactions smoothly while processing cash handling with basic math skills.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including stocking supplies and ensuring food safety compliance.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining a positive attitude.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar café or food industry role with beverage service expertise.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally.
- Knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation, coffee experience, and drink service techniques.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and sales processing.
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
