We are looking for a detail-oriented and hardworking Rotomolding Finishing Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the final stages of the rotational molding process, ensuring that molded plastic products meet our quality standards before they are shipped to customers. You will take raw, newly molded parts and use various tools to trim, de-flash, assemble, and inspect them for defects.
Key Responsibilities
- Trimming & De-flashing: Use hand tools, knives, routers, and flame-treating torches to remove excess plastic (flash) and smooth out edges on molded parts.
- Assembly & Secondary Operations: Install hardware, inserts, foam insulation, graphics, or secondary components onto the molded products according to blueprints or work orders.
- Quality Inspection: Visually inspect finished products for defects such as warping, thin spots, bubbles, or color inconsistencies.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate various hand and power tools, including drills, saws, sanders, and fixtures.
- Packaging & Staging: Safely pack, stack, and label completed products for warehouse storage or shipping.
- Maintain a Clean Workspace: Adhere to all safety protocols and keep the finishing area clean and organized.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
