Hours and Salary
Part/Full Time
20-40 hours per week
Salary $12.00-14.00 per hour depending on experience
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Qualifications
- Follow Bright From the State Regulations
- Supervise children while maintaining patience and understanding
- Provide a safe, nurturing environment with structured activities for all ages
- Self-starter who is able to work with limited supervision and handle multiple tasks
- No physical limitations: able to kneel down, pick up items, carry infants and small
children, and be able to lift at least 60 pounds
- Willing to work with children of persons in life-crisis situations
- Must always adhere to confidentiality and privacy of clients, including at work and
in the community
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with people of diversity
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
