Material Handler - Cleveland
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution center by safely loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials and products. The Material Handler will operate material-handling equipment and potentially forklifts as needed, maintain a clean and OSHA-compliant work environment, and work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

Safely operate forklifts and/or other material-handling equipment, as required, to load and unload materials and products from trucks, trailers, and containers.

Build, stack, and organize pallets for efficient storage and transportation.

Move and maneuver pallets and goods throughout the facility.

Load, unload, and stack pallets manually or with equipment.

Inspect pallets for damage and repair, recycle, or remove as needed.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA regulations.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Assist with inventory management, quality control, and general warehouse support.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Physical Demands and Qualifications:

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and stooping while handling materials.

Must be able to work in varying warehouse environments and temperatures, including exposure to noise, heat, cold, and indoor/outdoor conditions.

Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently.

Proof of prior forklift certification is a plus; and select candidates will be recertified to our company standards.

Knowledge of OSHA standards related to warehouse operations.
The Shifts:

8am to 4pm Sunday through Thursday

8am to 4pm Tuesday through Saturday
-
1pm to 9pm Monday through Friday
