Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers and box trucks, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Safely load and unload grain, ensuring proper securement and protection of cargo during transit.

Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines and optimize fuel usage.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, promptly reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.

Maintain accurate trip records, including driver logs, mileage, and delivery documentation.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered.

Assist with the loading and unloading process, including counting and inspecting freight as needed.

Operate equipment such as liftgates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to facilitate deliveries.

Keep the truck clean and organized, performing routine maintenance tasks as required.

Follow all company safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.

Provide professional and courteous customer service at every delivery location.

Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

At least two years of experience operating commercial vehicles as a CDL driver.

Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations and safe driving practices.

Ability to safely operate and maintain commercial vehicles and related equipment.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for managing paperwork and logs.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with team members and customers.

Physical ability to lift and move heavy cargo as required.

Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning tools.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including early morning starts and adapting to changing schedules.
