This is a part-time position that is Monday-Friday for the Fall and Spring 2026/2027 school semesters at NC State. There will be a 3 week break in December as NCSU is closed for Winter Break.
A Professional Property Management company is seeking an exceptional part- time Shuttle Bus Driver for a NCSU off campus student apartment community located at 2190 Ocean Reef Place, Raleigh NC 27603.
This is a fun and exciting opportunity for someone who loves to drive and interact with Students. Driver will need to be ready to report for the first day of class on Monday, August 18th. We kindly ask that the driver be available on Friday, August 15th to complete a test route with the community manager.
At the direction of the Community Manager, the Bus Driver will be responsible for operating the company bus to and from the university campus. The shuttle does not run during Fall, Winter or Spring Break. If NCSU is closed, the shuttle does not run. The shuttle does not run over the summer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operating the company bus
- Providing excellent customer service to the residents
- Maintain courteous communication with residents.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Education - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Required Licensing - Must have a valid commercial driver’s license and valid driver’s license.
- Experience - Minimum one year experience in transportation preferred, but not required.
- Communication - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPENSATION
Compensation includes a competitive wage (DOE) and 401(k). Pay is based on experience.
