We are seeking a full or part-time Pre-Licensed Mental Health Counselor seeking hours towards LMHC licensure to deliver quality mental health care for populations children through adulthood. This is a Hybrid position which would include a mix of in-Office and remote scheduling! We aspire to approach the holistic care of patients from a foundation of nursing theory and bring a comprehensive perspective to healthcare. The successful candidate will work as a team member with other nurse practitioners and clinicians to deliver premium care to each and every patient. The candidate will also be supervised by the practice president with over 13 years experience in the mental health field.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform diagnostic evaluations and follow-ups in a timely manner.
2. Conduct psychotherapy as part of comprehensive patient care.
3. Update patient records and check for accuracy.
4. Utilize and analyze diagnostic tools as appropriate.
5. Deliver quality care while maintaining all company metrics pertaining to productivity and upholding the company mission.
6. Serve as a resource for patient needs for ongoing care, information, counseling and provide necessary guidance for any critical situation or condition.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
1. Malpractice insurance coverage $1m/$3m minimum.
2. Master's Degree from an accredited University and completion of all internship/practicum in the field.
3. Ability to work within a team framework and take direction.
4. Ability/willingness to work with clients across the lifespan.
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Familiarity with Electronic Health Records, Microsoft Outlook.
