Job Summary
Quality Engineer Associate - Conformal Coating opportunity in North Billerica, MA for a temp-to-hire role supporting a high-reliability electronics manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for a quality-focused professional with experience in conformal coating, IPC standards, process validation, and defect prevention.
The role offers the chance to work closely with Quality leadership, production teams, operators, inspectors, and engineering groups to improve coating quality, strengthen compliance, and support mission-critical electronics manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain conformal coating quality control plans to meet IPC, customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.
- Review coating parameters for spray, dip, brush, and selective coating processes, including validation of UV, thermal, and moisture cure profiles.
- Define inspection criteria and support inspection activities using IPC-A-610, IPC-CC-830, and J-STD-001 standards.
- Support FAI and FAIR documentation, NCRs, CAPAs, SCARs, and customer quality requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, DMAIC, and other corrective action tools.
- Train operators and inspectors on workmanship standards, conformal coating requirements, inspection methods, and defect prevention.

- Pay Rate: $37 to $40 per hour, depending on experience.
