Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Lines of Supervision
The Director will manage and train and supervise all Childcare staff. When the Director is absent, the Owner/ Assisting staff will act as a substitute.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Teacher’s responsibilities may include, but not limited to the following duties: Perform scheduled routine duties, day-to-day scheduled curriculum Always remain in ratio (Infant Component teacher ratio is 1:4; with aide or second teacher maximum group size is 11) Napping routines with all children according to individual needs and schedules Feeding infants (bottles and solids) following parent instructions and center policies Diapering and maintaining proper sanitation procedures in accordance with Title 22 Transitioning infants through routines such as feeding, diapering, and sleeping Maintain accurate logs for bottles, feeding times, diaper changes, sleeping, blankets, and supplies per our ProCare account Meals and snacks adhere to the policy including the Allergy List Clean-up and restocking Lesson planning and implementation of age-appropriate curriculum Ensure safe sleep practices are followed in accordance with Title 22 (§101439.1) Supervision of children always in accordance with Title 22 (§101429).

Minimum Qualifications Requirements
Required to have taken Child Development 17A and Child Development 17B or Child Development 21
Required to have taken Child, Growth & Development Class and passed
Required to have taken Child,Family & Community Class and passed
Required to have taken 12 ECE Curriculum and passed
Required- A.S. Degree in Child Development 12 ECE units covering Child Development *Must be okay with working in infant, toddler and preschool classes as sometimes we might need the help in another class.
Child, Family and Community, Infant/Toddler Development, and related coursework ,TB Test is required; vaccinations for measles, flu, and whooping cough must be up to date Background clearance must be maintained to be employed ,Must have fingerprint clearance from the FBI, DOJ, and Child Abuse Central Index (CACI)
