The Dispatcher Coordinator position is the company representative responsible for scheduling and managing resource allocation of field technicians and inspectors to conduct specific inspections and tasks at a construction site. As a member of our operations team, the dispatcher coordinator will be responsible for managing and maintaining scheduling records of all field personnel activities to the job site on a day-to-day basis.
Knowledge of construction terminology and an understanding of the construction schedule is preferred. The person selected will have excellent customer service skills and be a good and clear communicator.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and route to an appropriate person.
- Schedule inspectors and field technicians to the job site based on task, ability and required certifications.
- Able to understand the request and provide clear directions to field personnel and client confirmations.
- Knowledge and understanding of the various county jurisdictions scheduling requirements to and communicating clearly to the client. This includes types of inspections allowed timeframes when scheduling to name a few.
- The dispatcher will be responsible for opening new job assignments in multiple cloud-based software, and accounting system.
- Ability to obtain detailed information, prioritize and multi-task when scheduling.
- Must be a self-starter with attention to details.
- Perform other duties, as and when assigned.
Required & Preferred Skills
- 2+ years of experience in dispatching in the construction industry - preferred
- Must have time management and strong organizational skills.
- Able to determine geographic locations.
- Must be adaptable to learning new systems and processes.
- High level of written and oral professionalism

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
