We are a growing immigration law firm in Orlando focused on providing high-quality, compassionate representation to individuals and families in removal proceedings. Our practice centers on complex EOIR matters, including asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers, bond hearings, and motions to reopen.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Immigration Associate Attorney with 1–2 years of experience in removal defense to join our team. This role is ideal for an attorney who is comfortable appearing in immigration court, enjoys client advocacy, and wants to grow within a supportive, collaborative firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in EOIR removal proceedings (Master Calendar and Individual Hearings)
- Handle bond hearings, motions, briefs, and applications for relief
- Prepare asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers, and related filings
- Develop case strategy and prepare evidence
- Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings
- Maintain consistent client communication and case management
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff
- Willing to travel to different courts for hearings
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction (Florida Bar preferred but not required)
- 1–2 years of experience in immigration removal defense / EOIR (required)
- Strong legal writing and courtroom advocacy skills
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred
- Organized, reliable, and client-centered
