PCS is hiring an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor in Ocean City, NJ. This position is working management position.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the specialty services staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of floors and carpets to assess cleanliness and identify areas needing attention.
- Oversee floor care procedures, including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment; ensure all tools are in good working condition.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations in all operations.
- Address customer inquiries or concerns regarding floorcare promptly and professionally.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients by delivering high-quality service consistently.
Experience
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques and equipment used in floorcare services.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus; the ability to lead a team effectively is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
- Knowledge of safety practices related to cleaning chemicals and equipment operation.
