Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation
- Assist with menu planning to incorporate fresh ingredients and innovative recipes
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients with precision
- Maintain strict food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support catering events or special orders by preparing meals efficiently and accurately
- Manage kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization to uphold health regulations
- Support dock operations by managing supplies, assisting with loading/unloading, and ensuring smooth logistical flow
Experience
- Previous experience in a culinary environment, particularly in pizza making
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety protocols and proper handling techniques
- Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and knife skills
- Background in restaurant or kitchen experience that demonstrates ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of food service operations and customer satisfaction principles
