East Bay Field Service Representative - 1099 Independent Contractor
We are seeking a relationship-oriented individual to join our team and provide onsite maintenance service to our customers in Oaklan / East Bay. Ideal candidates are semi- retired / gig workers that have strong customer service skills, high attention to detail and are comfortable driving/parking in the city.

Job Description: This position would have you take over several business accounts in the East Bay and surrounding areas. We also have two large routes in SF and San Jose that you may need to fill in for from time to time. Your primary responsibility would be to monitor and restock our customers first aid stations and maintain their AEDs at our customer’s place of business on an established schedule. You may be provided a delivery van and will have inventory to maintain, and you would be required to build strong relationships with our customers and Safetymax support staff.
Job Requirements:
- Understand 1099 independent contractor obligations
- Be able to work 3-5 days per month on a set schedule during business hours.
- Occasionally cover a week for our other routes in the area. It would be pre-planned.
- Must be centrally located in the East Bay.
- Prior customer service experience with friendly, helpful spirit
- Walking-intensive-- must be able to comfortable walk for long periods of time.
- Valid Driver's License and comfortable driving van in congested conditions. Resourcefulness with parking and traffic situations.
- Some knowledge of AEDs & FA preferred.
- Looking for long-term work only.
Compensation:
hourly ($30) + commission ($10-$20). Works out to about $35-$45 an hour historically.
