Make a positive impact working with students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Jersey
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based settings
- Knowledge of evaluation tools, therapy techniques, and IEP process
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy to students with diverse speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress reports, and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
