Job Overview
Geaux Glitter, Co. is looking for an Inventory Associate who has a strong attention to detail to assist with day-to-day tasks. Hours for working are Mon-Thurs from 9am-4:30pm and Fri from 9am-12pm (33 hours/week).
This is a family owned business. While the shop is not open to the public, it is almost always visited by members of the family (including the family dog) and customers of the hair salon located in the back. This role is best suited for someone who can focus in noisy settings and lift up to 15 lbs without assistance.
Responsibilities
- Restock inventory such as filling glitter shakers, labeling materials, loading shelves, organizing storage areas, and taking pictures for social media platforms,
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct quantities and packaging standards
- Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions,
- Assist with data entry tasks related to inventory updates, order processing, and logistics documentation,
- Other tasks as needed by the team.
Experience
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities accurately,
- Familiarity with excel; ability to learn online data systems with training,
- Customer Service or adjacent,
- Ability with work alone and with a team.
