Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team on-site.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to support various construction activities.
- Help in the installation of building materials.
- Participate in site clean-up and organization at the end of each workday.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on-site.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
