Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food, drinks, and cocktails efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, and specialty cocktails to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process sales using POS systems, and manage billing with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting in food handling and preparation when needed
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, spirits, and menu options to elevate the dining experience
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Proven ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and food safety protocols
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or casual settings preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and processing sales efficiently
