The successful candidate will contribute to the growth and strategic advancement of the Cybersecurity (CYBR) program through teaching, research, and service, with particular emphasis on enabling externally funded research and interdisciplinary collaboration. Anticipated start date is August 2026.
Essential duties include:
- Teaching undergraduate and graduate cybersecurity courses aligned with program needs, with emphasis on upper-division, graduate-level, and dual-level (4xxx/8xxx) courses supporting both BS and MS CYBR students.
- Developing and sustaining an active research agenda in cybersecurity or closely related areas
- Seeking and securing external research funding from federal agencies, state partners, foundations, and/or industry.
- Supervising and mentoring graduate students, including MS thesis/project students and PhD students in the college-wide doctoral program.
- Contributing to curriculum development
- Providing service to the School of Interdisciplinary Informatics, the College of Information Science & Technology, the university, and the broader cybersecurity community.
