Duties
- Operate various machinery and equipment used in food production, ensuring smooth and continuous operation in accordance with safety standards.
- Follow detailed production schedules and process instructions aligned with FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and other regulatory/legal compliance standards.
- Assist in the sanitation and cleaning of production areas, equipment, and packaging stations to maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene.
- Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process, conducting inspections and implementing quality assurance procedures.
- Support packaging operations by preparing, sealing, labeling, and stacking finished products accurately.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records, sanitation logs, and safety checks.
- Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, ingredient quantities, or quality control metrics as needed.
- Adhere strictly to safety standards in production environments, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately.
- Collaborate with team members and management to meet production goals while ensuring compliance with all food safety management systems.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food processing plant operations or manufacturing management within the food industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP practices, and safety standards in production environments.
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures and quality assurance processes specific to food processing.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machinery operation and troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Ability to operate packaging equipment efficiently and safely.
- Basic math skills for measurements, conversions, and quality checks.
- Familiarity with regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on food safety management practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards.
