We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our leadership team at Washington Square Nursing & Rehab, an 83-bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Warren's historic district. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high-quality care and well-being of our residents.
About the Role
As an Assistant Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring that our residents receive exceptional care and attention. You will work closely with our residents, families, and multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans that meet their unique needs. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding and mentoring our nursing staff to provide top-notch care and services.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow management
Develop and implement effective care plans, protocols, and policies to ensure high-quality care for our residents
Provide guidance and mentorship to our nursing staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans, making recommendations for improvements
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects
Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio with 2+ years of experience in a DON role
Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current Ohio State RN license
Ability to work full-time hours with occasional evening and weekend shifts
