Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages with precision and flair, ensuring each drink meets quality standards and presentation expectations
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to accurately process orders, payments, and tips
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cashing out customers efficiently using proper cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and glassware to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving food and beverages during events like banquets or catering functions
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse guests warmly and professionally
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours
- Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math scenarios
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with liquor laws and regulations
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or beverage crafting is a plus for enhancing drink offerings
