The adult education administrative assistant is responsible for managing daily office operations to include maintaining financial records, processing invoices and payroll, monitoring grant and departmental budgets, generating financial reports, ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment, and serving as a primary point of contact for students, staff, and the public. Additional priorities include answering and directing incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner and assisting students with course registration and general inquiries. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient business operations and community building through exceptional customer service within the adult education program.
