Job Summary:
We are seeking dependable Material Handlers to support operations at a busy Port Authority. This role involves moving, loading, and organizing materials in a fast-paced industrial environment. Candidates must have forklift experience and be comfortable with physical labor.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials
- Handle and transport cargo safely and efficiently
- Lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly
- Maintain organization of inventory and storage areas
- Follow all safety procedures and port regulations
- Assist with general labor duties as needed
Requirements:
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance
- Ability to work in outdoor/industrial environments
- Must follow strict safety guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a port, warehouse, or industrial setting
- OSHA certification is a plus
Work Environment:
