Job description
We are looking for a dedicated occupational therapist who has experience impacting clients ranging from birth through 21 years old. You will be joining a high quality and supportive team of OTs, PTs, and SLPs. This position is flexible for part time or full time hours, allowing you the freedom to create your schedule.

Responsibilities
- Conduct professional, client centered evaluations in order to determine best services and programming for clients
- Apply ongoing and evidenced-based treatment sessions aligned to collaborative client goals
- Developing, implementing and training families in follow up programs to meet outcome measures
- Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use
- Observe, note, and report on progress of long and short term treatment goals
- Collect data and document processes followed
- Complete OT intensives with clients
Skills
- 5 + years experience in pediatrics
- Prefer skillset with the following: medically complex children including but not limited to individuals with CP, Down Syndrome, Prematurity, HIE, and, Genetic Conditions
- Some knowledge in feeding, splinting, handling and positioning of medically complex children to improve function, reflex integration, and vision
- Self-directed learner
- Excellent communication with parents and children
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy
- Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media
- Familiarity with evaluation tools
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy
- BS degree or greater in occupational therapy
Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
