Job description:
Keyston Bros. has been in business since 1868, and we are one of the leading wholesale distributors of automotive & upholstery fabrics and supplies for the Transportation, Furniture and Marine markets in the USA. We're seeking an organized and driven Assistant Warehouse Manager to support daily operations and help ensure our warehouse runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the will call area to ensure accurate and timely customer
pickups
Handle inside sales calls and assist with customer inquiries as needed
Cut, prepare, and process orders with precision
Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including receiving and verifying deliveries
Maintain accurate stock levels by organizing shelves and performing regular cycle
counts
Perform lot maintenance and ensure a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
environment
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and company goals
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
3+ years of warehouse, logistics and/or UPH (units per hour) distribution
experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA regulations
Strong leadership and team management skills
Strong work ethic with a willingness to grow and succeed within the company
Driven, adaptable, and quick to learn in fast-paced environments
Ability to perform physical labor, including heavy lifting and hands-on tasks
Excellent organizational and communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
