We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals in an in-home setting. In this vital role, you will support patients with their daily needs, monitor their health status, and ensure a safe, comfortable environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve. Duties
- Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and basic hygiene.
- Mobility Support: Help clients get in and out of beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and cook nutritious meals according to dietary needs, and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Light Housekeeping: Keep the living space tidy, including laundry, washing dishes, and vacuuming.
- Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take their prescribed medications on time.
- Companionship: Engage in conversations, provide emotional support, and accompany clients on errands or to appointments.
Skills/Requirements:
- A genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life.
- Previous caregiving experience (Home Health Aide, PCA, or CNA preferred, but not always required for the right candidate).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (preferred).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25-50lbs.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team within home environments while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA regulations
- Experience assisting with complex ADLs such as feeding, dressing, mobility assistance, and cleaning or laundry duties in a home health setting
- Excellent patient observation skills to detect subtle changes in health status or behavioral cues
- Knowledge of hospice care principles, dementia care strategies, and end-of-life support practices

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
