The Bartender is responsible for providing high quality beverage production and service to our guests. We seek candidates who are organized, able to think and act quickly, and effectively retain self-composure in a busy work environment. This position will be scheduled in the restaurant service bar and main bar.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand and adhere to the Vermont State Laws.
Greet each guest in a warm and welcoming manner.
Communicate with guests using clear and enthusiastic words, tone and body language at all times. Make guests feel appreciated through your actions.
Work as a team with all Simon Pearce staff in order to maintain an efficient food and beverage service.
Mix, garnish and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with a focus on consistency following standard recipes.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register
Be attentive. Anticipate your guest’s needs.
Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
Qualifications Required:
Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
2-3 Years Bartending at a Full Service Bar preferred
Thorough knowledge of beer, wine and spirits, and be familiar with standard drink recipes.
Excellent communication skills
Organizational skills
Multi-task oriented
Available to work nights, weekends and holidays
Able to lift 40lbs
