Job Summary
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by managing the check-in and check-out process, handling reservations, and assisting guests with requests during their stay. This role ensures a positive guest experience while maintaining the service standards of Tru by Hilton, part of Hilton Worldwide Holdings.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming hotel experience.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Process reservations, cancellations, and room assignments.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries about hotel services and local attractions.
- Address guest concerns or complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain accurate guest records and payment information.
- Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other methods.
- Folding towels and stocking them in public areas.
- Help set up breakfast buffet.
- Cleaning: Sanitizing, vacuuming, mopping, and taking out trash.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and guest service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with hotel reservation systems is a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional demeanor and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 20–50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to move around the front desk and lobby area as needed.
Work Schedule
- Shifts may include morning, afternoon, evening, weekends, and holidays depending on hotel needs.
- Overnights 10pm-6am
