Field Nurse
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes or other facility
settings
- Conduct assessments and develop care plans for patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess for any changes in condition
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices and disease
management
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
- Document patient information accurately and timely
Skills:
- Experience in hospice and home health field nurse
- Experience with plan of care and timely documentation
- Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices
- Familiarity with family planning methods and counseling techniques
- Excellent nursing assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and move patients safely using proper body mechanics
- Skill in performing minor procedures such as suturing and wound care
