Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This is a 1099 contract position with monthly pay issued on the 10th. There are two accounts to be serviced:
Account 1: 5* nights per week (Monday-Friday) after 6 p.m. This will include commons area and Friday night office cleaning. *
Account 2: 3 nights per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) after 6 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Execute floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling according to company policies.
- Assist with custodial tasks in both commercial and residential settings as required.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to communicate and correspond via Smart Phone
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning standards is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
