UR Cabinets is a growing cabinet dealership located in Plant City, Florida. We provide builder-grade, semi-custom, and custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects. We work with over 36 cabinet manufacturers and help clients bring their dream kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, offices, and other spaces to life through professional design, product selection, and project guidance.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen & Bath Designer who is proficient in 2020 Design software and enjoys working directly with clients. This role combines design, sales, and customer service. You will create cabinet layouts, develop 3D renderings, prepare presentations, and guide customers through the design and selection process.
The ideal candidate is confident using multiple manufacturer catalogs within 2020 Design, understands cabinetry and space planning, and can communicate design solutions clearly to clients.
Responsibilities
- Design kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, and other cabinetry projects using 2020 Design software
- Create professional 3D renderings and presentations for clients
- Work with a variety of cabinet manufacturer catalogs and maintain catalog updates
- Meet with customers to understand project goals, budgets, and design preferences
- Present design concepts and product selections
- Prepare estimates and assist in closing sales
- Communicate with customers throughout the design process
- Save and organize project files using Google Drive
- Utilize Gmail and other Google Workspace tools for communication and project management
- Collaborate with the sales and project management team
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with the paid version of 2020 Design software
- Experience working with cabinet manufacturer catalogs within 2020
- Ability to create professional client presentations using PowerPoint
- Experience using Gmail and Google Drive
- Strong understanding of cabinet design, space planning, fillers, blind corners, appliance layouts, and cabinet construction
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Sales experience is a plus
