About Us:
Prepaze Academy is launching an independent research mentorship program for high school students preparing for competitive college admission. We pair students with expert mentors to help them develop research projects, build inquiry skills, and create academically rigorous outputs.
Role:
We are hiring experienced PhD mentors to guide high school students through research project development. Mentoring includes weekly sessions, feedback, and advising on methods, analysis, and writing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly 120 min mentoring sessions (remote)
- Provide structured feedback on student research work
- Guide students through topic refinement, methods, and analysis
- Support ethical and academically rigorous work
- Attend occasional team check-ins
Qualifications:
- Current PhD student, postdoctoral researcher, or PhD graduate
- Strong background in research design, methodology, and academic writing
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience mentoring, teaching, or tutoring preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $29.62 - $35.67 per hour
