Duties
- Lead and motivate the used car sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective coaching and support
- Manage inventory control, including sourcing high-quality vehicles and optimizing stock levels to meet market demand
- Develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives to attract potential buyers and increase foot traffic
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers through excellent customer service, B2B sales, and upselling techniques
- Utilize CRM software to track sales pipelines, customer interactions, and follow-up activities for maximum efficiency
- Conduct negotiations with customers to close deals favorably while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Oversee outbound sales efforts such as cold calling, outreach campaigns, and public speaking engagements to generate leads
- Maintain organized records of all transactions, inventory movements, and sales reports using dealership management systems
- Support the sales team with training on automotive industry sales techniques, retail math, and organizational skills
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive dealership sales management or a similar high-end sales environment with a focus on passenger cars
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities and phone etiquette
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B sales, and outbound marketing strategies
- Proficiency with CRM systems and inventory management tools supported by dealership software
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases
- Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of retail math, inventory control, and automotive industry best practices
- Exceptional organizational skills combined with a proactive approach to deal closing and upselling opportunities
- Experience in public speaking or marketing initiatives that enhance dealership visibility
