The Hundley-Williams Team with RE/MAX Premier Properties is looking for a newly licensed real estate agent — or someone expected to be licensed within the next 30 days — to join our team in a hybrid role focused on transaction support, listing preparation, buyer offer preparation, and real-world real estate training.
This role is designed to give a newer agent the opportunity to earn income, gain hands-on experience, and learn the business from inside active transactions while still building their own client base.
You will assist with transaction management and administrative support for the team while still having the ability to work with your own buyers, sellers, and personal sphere. The goal is to help you sharpen your contract, communication, and transaction skills while developing your own real estate career. This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Preparing buyer offers
- Preparing new listings for the MLS
- Assisting with transaction coordination from contract to closing
- Communicating with agents, lenders, title companies, inspectors, clients, and vendors
- Tracking contract deadlines, inspection periods, appraisal timelines, financing dates, closing requirements, and related transaction details
- Helping ensure files, disclosures, amendments, and transaction documents are complete and organized
- Supporting listing launches, including MLS input, document preparation, showing setup, and marketing coordination
- Assisting with occasional weekend needs, primarily related to offer preparation
- Learning team systems, processes, contracts, client communication, and best practices
- Continuing to build your own real estate business with support and guidance from the team
Ideal Candidate
- Newly licensed or planning to be licensed within the next 30 days
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Eager to learn the real estate business hands-on
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong with written and verbal communication
- Responsive during normal business hours
- Able to manage deadlines and multiple moving parts
- Professional when communicating with clients, agents, lenders, title companies, vendors, and other real estate professionals
- Interested in growing their own real estate business while also supporting a productive team
- Coachable, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of tasks
- Comfortable with technology, AI-powered tools, and learning new systems
Prior real estate experience is helpful but not required. The right attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are most important.
Requirements
- Active Kentucky real estate license, or expected licensure within 30 days
- General availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
- Occasional weekend availability as needed, primarily for offer preparation
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed processes
- Professional communication skills
- Reliable access to phone, computer, and internet
- Tech savvy and comfortable learning new platforms and systems
Compensation
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with transaction-based compensation.
Compensation includes:
- $75 per buyer offer prepared
- $150 per listing prepared
- $350 per closed transaction
- RE/MAX monthly dues covered by the team for the first 12 months
- Compensation for showing properties
- Bonuses for any other agents recruited to the team
This role is designed to provide income opportunities while helping a newer agent gain real-world experience and build their own real estate business.
What You Will Learn
The team leaders have closed 800+ transactions and have 25+ years of combined real estate experience, giving you the opportunity to learn directly from experienced real estate professionals.
You will gain hands-on exposure to:
- Buyer contract preparation
- MLS input and listing compliance
- Negotiation skills
- Prospecting and business-building strategies
- Scripts, dialogues, and client communication skills
- Repair negotiations
- Appraisal and financing deadlines
- Title and closing coordination
- Real estate systems, processes, and workflows
- How a productive real estate team operates day to day
You will have the opportunity to learn while contributing directly to active business.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
Many new agents enter real estate without enough structure, training, or immediate income opportunities. This role is designed to help bridge that gap.
You will be able to earn money through transaction support, learn by working inside active deals, and still have the freedom to grow your own personal real estate business. For the right person, this can be a strong foundation for a long-term real estate career.
How to Apply
If you are newly licensed, close to becoming licensed, or looking for a practical way to gain real estate experience while building your own business, we would like to hear from you.
Please apply with your resume, a brief note about where you are in the licensing process, and include the phrase “Ice Cream Sundae” in your application.
