Currently our client, a Japanese Food Company, is looking for a Food Service Sales Representative.

【Location】Irvine, CA
【Compensation】$72,000
【Schedule】MONDAY - FRIDAY: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Core Hours for Flex Schedule: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Responsibilities
- Develop new business with restaurant operators, chains, and distributors
- Focus on target segments such as Japanese restaurants, sushi, rice concepts, and ramen/noodle shops
- Build and maintain relationships with distributors and their sales teams
- Support product registration, promotions, product demonstrations, and training
- Represent the company at industry events such as the NRA Show
- Monitor market trends, competitor products, pricing, and merchandising
- Manage sales KPIs including sales growth, distribution expansion, conversion rates, and forecast accuracy
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to expand the use of the company's premium oils and functional fat solutions
Qualifications
- Fluent English and Japanese
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in the U.S. foodservice or restaurant industry
- Experience working with U.S. or Japanese distributors or restaurant chain headquarters
- Understanding of restaurant/kitchen operations and food ingredients
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Willingness to travel nationwide
- Valid driver's license
