Residential Service Electrician 5 Star Richmond – Mister Sparky Electric
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Residential Service Electrician. This role focuses on diagnosing issues, educating customers, identifying clear solutions and options, and coordinating the scope of work with our office team so jobs can be completed efficiently, cleanly, and fully up to code.
Ideal candidates are electricians who enjoy educating customers, providing solutions, and helping homeowners get the work done right the first time.
Compensation
- Starting pay: $28/hour (flexible based on experience and prior performance)
- Regular commissions on top of hourly rate
- Performance increase: +$2/hour within 60–90 days based on good performance
Requirements
- 3–5 years of residential electrical experience
- Strong customer communication skills — able to educate homeowners, explain problems clearly, and present practical solutions
- Ability to work closely with the office team to schedule and coordinate jobs
- Must pass a background check, driving record check, and drug test
