Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and attention to detail.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, attractive, and well-maintained
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support inventory management by stocking products and participating in regular stock checks
- Engage customers in product knowledge sharing to boost sales and promote special offers or promotions
- Physically able to lift 30-40 pound cases of wine/liquor
- Walk up and down stairs with ease
Experience
- Prior retail sales experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math for quick transaction processing
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey product information and assist customers confidently
- Experience with merchandising and stock management is desirable
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills are essential for creating positive interactions
