Job Summary
We are hiring a dependable, skilled Carpenter to join our residential construction team. This position is ideal for someone with solid hands-on carpentry experience who can complete projects with limited supervision while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and professionalism.
You will work on residential new construction, renovations, additions, and remodeling projects. The right candidate takes pride in their craftsmanship, communicates well, and works effectively both independently and as part of a crew.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential rough and finish carpentry
- Frame walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, doors, and windows
- Install trim, molding, cabinets, hardware, flooring, and other finishes
- Read and follow plans, measurements, specifications, and project instructions
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other building materials
- Assist with demolition, remodeling, repairs, and punch-list work
- Identify job-site issues and communicate them to the supervisor
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
- Work with other carpenters, subcontractors, supervisors, and homeowners
- Complete assigned work accurately and on schedule
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of residential carpentry or construction experience preferred
- Working knowledge of rough and finish carpentry
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math
- Experience using common hand tools and power tools
- Ability to follow plans, instructions, and safety procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work on ladders
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely perform physically demanding construction work
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
