Oven Cook (Pide & Lavash Baker)
DOYA is looking for an experienced Oven Cook to join our culinary team. This is not a traditional pizza position—you'll be responsible for preparing and baking our signature Turkish pide and lavash in a high-volume, wood-fired rotating oven.
This is one of the most technical stations in our kitchen and requires speed, precision, consistency, and the ability to perform under pressure while managing the station independently.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a professional bakery, pizza, or wood-fired oven environment.
- Experience operating a wood-fired rotating oven is highly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and maintain high quality during high-volume service.
- Strong time management, organization, and station management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, open kitchen environment.
- English is important for communication, but it is not required.
