Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings, including, outpatient, home health, school, clinic, and pediatrics. This role involves developing individualized care plans to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' needs and capabilities.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' physical and cognitive functions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and strategies for improvement.
- Document patient progress and modify care plans as necessary.
- Stay updated on best practices in occupational therapy and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Provide home health and clinic based services to the pediatric population
Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in inpatient, outpatient, home health, geriatrics, school, clinic, or pediatrics preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to occupational therapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help patients regain independence in their daily lives.
