Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and inviting dining area
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately
- Assist servers with food running, refilling beverages, and attending to guest needs
- Maintain cleanliness in all service areas by sweeping, wiping down tables, and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, boxes, or supplies following safe lifting practices
- Support the kitchen staff with basic food handling and preparation tasks as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards
- Experience in bussing, food running, or general restaurant service preferred
- Ability to handle manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy and guest transactions
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety regulations to ensure guest well-being
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
