Job Summary:
We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Daycare Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and a commitment to providing a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for our young students. This role requires strong classroom management skills, the ability to communicate effectively with children and their families, and a deep understanding of childhood development. Duties:
- Plan and implement daily lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of our preschool and toddler students
- Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Engage with children through play-based activities, stories, songs, and educational games
- Encourage children to explore, learn, and develop their problem-solving skills
- Establish and maintain effective classroom routines and discipline strategies
- Develop and implement behavioral management strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of care and communication with families
- Monitor and record children's progress and achievements
- Provide special education support as needed to ensure equal opportunities for all students
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Skills:
- Experience in a classroom setting, preferably in a private school or daycare environment
- Knowledge of Montessori and childhood development theories
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and their families
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and develop positive relationships with children
- Experience working with children with special needs
- Familiarity with private school and preschool settings
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
