Electrical MEP Engineer – Raleigh, NC
Growing MEP engineering firm in the Raleigh area is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join its building systems team. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with experience in commercial, healthcare, institutional, or similar building projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Design electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
- Perform electrical calculations and develop construction documents
- Coordinate designs with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural teams
- Support projects from concept through construction administration
- Work directly with clients, contractors, and project teams
What We’re Looking For:
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of electrical MEP/building design experience
- EIT or PE preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC and electrical building codes
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred
- Strong communication and project coordination skills
