Summary: Coordinate and execute programs and activities to provide life-enriching experiences for residents and the broader community. Strengthen community involvement through promotion of programs. Driving, as needed, to enable and empower resident independence as part of our structured transportation services.Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct/lead activities in the following categories: physical (exercise), social, recreational, intellectual/educational, creative, entertainment, religious, & service/volunteering, as assigned.
- Promote activities, including inviting and/or reminding residents to participate.
- Chaperone activities outside of the facility.
- Drive company vehicles, as needed, for outings and regularly scheduled group trips.
- Drive the company vehicle for resident activities and appointments.
- Help with decoration of the facility.
- Assist with implementation of marketing events that promote the facility to potential residents.
- Communicate in meetings and informally with colleagues regarding activities, resident needs, and issues of staff morale.
- Provide individualized assistance to residents, as appropriate and time allows.
- Maintain a pleasant and positive disposition in keeping with good customer service standards and a warm living environment.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized workplace, including company vehicles.
- Assist other departments as needed (including dining, housekeeping, and maintenance).
- Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
